What you should know about AD Architecture
Working with Jon from ADarchitecture and Chris from North Face Construction to build our new beach house was a breeze. Everything went according to schedule, and when we asked for changes to the plans Jon was able to do them quickly to keep the project on track. Now the building is complete, all the tenants, builder and myself are very proud of 129 Rimu Road and are grateful for the professionalism of Jon Ambler and the team of ADarchitecture. We were also particularly impressed with all their work with the council as there were no problems at all with documentation and planning approval.
Our new property is a reflection of our changing stages in life, with two teenage children now and one no longer living at home it was important to incorporate both their needs and our needs in our new family home. Peter and his team are great to work with! The design, colours and utility of the building are outstanding both for its core purpose as a hockey pavilion and as an event venue. Many thanks to Peter and team for making the building of our home such an enjoyable experience. With this brief and our initial concepts, Peter was able to design a home that we are extremely comfortable living in. We have been in our new home for just over a year and what a pleasure it has been.
We have been in our new home for just over a year and what a pleasure it has been. Peter carries out and oversees the design and construction observation of architectural design projects focusing mainly on residential alterations and new houses, as well as community and commercial commissions. Hamish carries out and oversees the design and construction of architectural design projects focusing mainly on new houses and light commercial projects. Formerly with Wellington City Council and Sedgwick Group Architects, Michael joined Peter Davis Architecture in 2003 and is a member of the senior management team.
Working on mostly commercial projects and with particular attention to construction detail, Michael not only produces detailed documentation but has a leading role in project management, overseeing construction and istration of various ADarchitecture projects around NZ. Mike joined Peter Davis Architecture in 199 and is a member of the senior management team. He has technical expertise in producing detailed construction documentation on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. Nicholle joined studio 7 Architecture in 2015 bringing her experience in Building Information Modelling and technical drawing. Nicholle is in the process of completing her National Diploma in Architectural Technology and primarily produces technical documentation for new residential projects and major alterations.
Jack has recently joined the team after completing a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies at Victoria University in 2015, and completing a Diploma in Architectural Technology at Wellington Institute of Technology in 2016. Janelle specializes in designing creative and engaging spaces within and around our buildings using Revit, 3D Studio Max and Adobe creative products to create presentation drawings and rendered perspectives. Having previously worked in accounting practices, Anke is responsible for the finances including invoicing, GST, cash flow management and monthly reporting to the Directors and Shareholders. She is also a Director of the Smarter Building Centre, a building product showroom and building education facility.
Due to increased demand for our services closer to Wellington and the greater surrounds in 2016 Studio 7 Architectural Design merged into ADarchitecture forming a dynamic and responsive practice spread across two offices. Our architectural services include feasibility and design concepts through to building completion, making the whole process of bringing your project to life an enjoyable and rewarding experience
